Kuwait sewage treatment project successfully recovers TBM from the seabed of the Arabian Gulf

On July 29, 2022, after completing the pipe jacking of 1973m pipeline, the main sewage treatment project in Kuwait spent 4 days to recover the Herrick tunnel boring machine Emma used in the project from the seabed of the Arabian Gulf.
The construction personnel use the combination of air bag and crane to lift the TBM to the sea surface. Then it was towed for 40km, and then a 350t crawler crane was used to transport TBM from the sea to the wharf.
